Why a UVA flashlight?

UVA (blacklights) can be used for both serious and casual activities. A flashlight is more convenient for portability than wall-plug unit. LEDs also last far longer than bulbs, meaning much more time before needing to replace it. These flashlights can also take more abuse than regular blacklight units.

Why the P25LC2?

By taking a list of Eagletac flashlights that have the 365nm LED available and comparing outputs and run times (of non-UVA versions) we could determine the likely best models to select. Of the flashlights that include auxilery outputs (strobe, beacon, etc) the P25LC2's regular LED version has the best set of lumen output, run time and beam profile. [Regular LED data was used for comparison since the UVA version data is not provided.]

Why not one that takes AA batteries?

While comparing, the AA version has less output and run time.

What if you don't want the auxilery outputs?

Good news, there is a flashlight with very similar outputs and run times but no auxilery outputs. P200LC2
